Welcome To Glens Falls, New York  This event is sanctioned by the American Volkssport Association (AVA) a member of the International Federation of Popular Sports (IVV). Participants are eligible for credit toward IVV Achievement Awards.

Course Description: The trail, rated 1A  Walks will be on city sidewalks, through neighborhoods and the downtown district as well as trails through a wooded park and city park with wooden bridges that cross moving streams and go along a pond.
The outskirts of GF include a Mall and many restaurants and businesses along the main thoroughfare of Route 9 .
There is a large complex of outlet stores located off of I 87 about 8 miles north at Exit 20.

Registration Fees:    All Walkers to pay $4.00  (CREDIT ONLY)
                      
"A" Award & Credit is $6.00;
                      "B" Award & Credit is $5.00

From I-87 N or S Take exit 19 towards Rt. 254/Glens Falls.
Turn R onto Aviation Rd.- Rt. 254
Turn R onto Glen St. (.6 mi.) In 2 miles arrive at Spot Coffee Glens Falls on left - just opposite the Crandall Library

Refreshments & Restrooms: Water and restroom facilities are available at the start/finish and along the route. Refreshments may also be purchased from local businesses along the route. Walkers are encouraged to carry water during warm weather.

Smoking is prohibited in public buildings by New York State law. Please observe this ruling.
